Maia Makhateli and Artur Shesterikov in the Diamonds Coda in Jewels (Dutch National Ballet)
I personally think that the lead couple in diamonds needs to be danced by romantic partners (Or former romantic partners, in the case of Marianela Nunez and Thiago Soares). Makhateli and Shesterikov are lovely in this, and dance more in the Balanchine style and at the Balanchine tempi, unlike so many other current interpreters of the role. I think that Maia Makhateli is one of the most underrated dancers out there, and this video shows why.
